Apr. 12th, 2018 01:13 am 🃏 First Impressions 🗡 VISUAL: John has dark green hair, hazel eyes, and pretty much literally white skin. He's 6'0" (counting his hair into his height christ) and a little gangly looking, topping out at 175 pounds. Depending on 'when' he's being played from, he may or may not have a scar on the palm and back of his hand where it was stabbed through with a batarang. His mouth spreads wider than any mouth has the right to do. It's upsetting. The man has a big mouth. 🗡 FASHION: John tends to flashy colors: he likes bright greens and bold purples. Sometimes he tones it down with a black and purple combo, but he has described his style as 'flashy and fun'. He favors vests, loose shirts, and suit pants. His collars are often misaligned, one side of his shirt is always untucked, he tends to roll up one shirt sleeve and leave the other down. His shoes and socks are often mismatched. Sometimes he adds a bit more color by pinning flowers to his vest. 🗡 DEMEANOUR: John comes off as nervous and unnerving at the same time. Eager to please and desperate for attention, while also quick to anger over seemingly insignificant slights. He hunches a lot and clasps his hands together often. He likes to get into things way more than he should, and always seems to be poking around in things he shouldn't be. When he walks, he often does it with his hands clasped behind his back. 🗡 SOUND: His voice sounds like a sort of rasping growl. Sort of? I'll get a link at some point. Often laughing, cackling, giggling, or chuckling. It's a nervous tic. 🗡 SCENT: He smells like he lives in an abandoned subway station. Sometimes he smells nicer, whenever he's able to borrow the use of a washer, dryer, and a shower from any of his pals at the Stacked Deck bar. 🗡 MENTAL INFORMATION: John isn't well. He suffers from a few different mental illnesses, which manifest themselves in ways that align with schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder. He says he hears voices, he suffers from anxiety and depression, fears abandonment, idealizes people he gets attached to in unhealthy ways, has a significant temper, tends towards black and white thinking, falls prey to paranoia about his relationships... on top of that, he's an amnesiac who remembers nothing about his past, not even his real name. Despite all his various mental woes, he wants to be seen as a good person and wants to do good things. He genuinely wants to help others. ...He also has a great love of violence. It's delightful. 🗡 MAGICAL INFORMATION: John isn't magical. He's just weird. 🃏 OOC 🗡 BACKTAGGING: I'm content to backtag for a long time! If it's something time sensitive I may ask if we can boomerang or focus on it, or otherwise suggest we brainstorm a conclusion and then work our way towards it. 🗡 FOURTHWALLING: I'm fine with people knowing stuff about John in the sense the Joker is a looooong existing character and who hasn't heard about him. John, on the other hand, is not okay with this so he may get mad. 🗡 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes! John loves it. He's very up for hugs, hi5s, pinky swears, handshakes, shoulder claps, and any and all sense of physical interaction. 🗡 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes! John loves violence and he's capable enough in a fight to hold his own and fight off multiple people at once. Feel free to hurt him or fight him or whatever, I just ask we talk before we do any killing. 🗡 RELATIONSHIPS: Yes! John also wants these.
